The Newest Family Member!

It is amazing what difference a day can make and the miracles God can drop in your lap in a matter of minutes.  On Sunday, we were thinking we would be waiting at least a week for a referral, maybe even a month, but on Monday, we were looking at the face of a sweet angel who will become part of our family in a few very long months!

Meet Zoe Annaliese Maddox!  She will be 2 years old in August. She has a limb difference, which for her means her right hand did not fully develop in the womb, but other than that she is very healthy.  She is currently in foster care, which is a GREAT thing! She is described as active, clever, quick witted, and not shy with strangers.  Sound like anyone else you know? :)  We think she will fit right in, especially with her soon to be big sister, Kayleigh.

We will keep you posted as we learn more,receive updates, and continue through this process. There will be lots of paperwork to complete over the next several months. Although we won't know for sure until a few weeks before, we anticipate traveling in the October/November time frame.
